Where Brothers Painting works

Brothers Painting is a family-run painting contractor, and the work runs across Palm Beach County: West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lantana, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee and Juno Beach. The estimate visit is free in every one of them.

Over 15 years in business

Six towns, and what the paint has to put up with in each

The climate is the same county-wide: sun, humidity and, nearer the coast, salt. What changes is the kind of building and who has to sign off on the colour.

  • West Palm Beach

Home base, in the 33407 ZIP. Painting here means planning around strong sun, humid air and sea air that travels inland, so exteriors get washed, scraped and caulked before any coating goes on.

  • Boca Raton

Condos and community associations are a big part of the housing in south county, and many have rules about work hours, elevator use and approved colours. Ask your association first and the schedule gets built around it.

  • Jupiter

Up at the north end of the county, close to the water. Salt in the air is hard on exterior paint, trim and fascia, which is why the prep and the choice of coating matter more than the colour.

  • Palm Beach Gardens

Many neighbourhoods here sit under an architectural review, with approved palettes and sometimes a sign-off before painting starts. A colour consultation, with samples looked at in your own light, helps you arrive with a choice that will clear it.

  • Wellington

Further inland, so less salt but the same sun and the same summer humidity. Stucco chalks, shaded walls grow mildew, and both need to be dealt with before repainting rather than painted over.

  • Delray Beach

Coastal air outside and humid air inside. Older houses and condos often come with popcorn ceilings, wallpaper and tired trim, and that is where careful prep earns its keep before the first coat.
